Hugh James procurement series and other essential CHC events to book this year
Community Housing Cymru’s industry-leading conferences and specialist sessions will once again be bringing members from across Wales’s social housing sector together in 2024.
Our informative schedule will explore some of the sector’s biggest talking points. We’ll be discussing everything from wellbeing to finance, governance and health and safety, throughout the year.
These in-person and online events provide housing association members with the space to come together and share ideas, discuss solutions and learn from experts to ensure they have the tools and information they need to address key issues.
The programme continues to be created with the help and knowledge of a wide range of industry stakeholders, along with our commercial partner members.
A key event taking place in the coming weeks is a series of training sessions on procurement, delivered by our commercial partner Hugh James Solicitors, that will help the sector get ready for the procurement reform and the implementation of the UK Procurement Act.
We will also be supporting board members through a new series of online briefings, including a session on regulation, which is particularly relevant to new board members, on 11/01/24. We will also be hosting networking sessions focused on health and safety in West Wales and North Wales in January, along with our Governance Conference in Cardiff in March.
But that’s not all. We will also continue with our member community meet ups and our programme of webinars and spotlights on a range of topics and we’ll be holding our popular Introduction to Housing Associations course for staff and board members who are new to the housing sector.
