Spotlight on Supported Housing Standards
The purpose of this session is to consider the changes to Supported Housing in England and the likely impact on services in Wales.
The Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act 2023, which aims to improve the quality of supported housing in England, came into force on 29 August 2023. Specific proposals will be consulted upon jointly by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Department for Work and Pensions from early 2024.
In this spotlight, Welsh Government will outline the potential implications for Wales and plans to develop Welsh supported housing standards in partnership with the sector. This will include an opportunity to provide early feedback on proposals.
