Bethan Proctor

Bethan joined Community Housing Cymru in 2019 as a Policy and External Affairs Manager. She has a political background having worked for a Member of the Senedd and is also a local councillor in Cardiff.

Bethan has worked for National Energy Action Cymru where she developed policy to support those living in fuel poverty and has also worked in children's services.

At Community Housing Cymru Bethan leads on our decarbonisation and public affairs policy areas. She has worked with Welsh Government to influence the Welsh Quality Housing Standard 2023 (WHQS) and with members on tenant engagement and skills. She has previously worked on building safety which included leading the Primary Fire Authority Scheme and Safety Strategic Delivery Group.
