Communications Officer
Gemma has over 15 years’ experience in the media and communications sector, having worked as a journalist, in PR and also in communications.
During her career she has worked as a journalist at both national and local level for the Press Association, and also Welsh titles including the Llanelli Star, and South Wales Evening Post.
She has also worked with a range of businesses across Wales during her roles at leading marketing agencies, and supported crisis communications at public sector organisations in their response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
At Community Housing Cymru she is responsible for highlighting the vital policy and influencing work carried out by the organisation through media relations, internal communications, and leads our social media strategy.
