Member news: announcing our new Housing Hub
Earlier this year we shared how we’ve been improving the ways we engage with our members, and using your feedback to evolve our services.
Members told us that the website could be a more useful resource, and that they wanted easier access to the essential information we deliver. In response, we are pleased to be launching a new Housing Hub on our website.
This password-protected section will mean that our members can find timely updates on our work, policy briefings, task and finish group information, useful resources and more within a few clicks.
The Housing Hub is launching with pages focused on the following areas:
the cost of living crisis;
decarbonisation/WHQS;
disrepair;
homelessness;
RAAC;
rent and affordability.
These topics were chosen for the launch as they are some of our fastest moving areas at the moment, but we will be adding more pages in the coming weeks and months.
As a central information repository, it will be much easier and quicker for members to get updates, briefings, information on events of interest and more related to their area of focus.
Members will still have the support of our policy team but by using the Housing Hub, you can simply click and collect.
The hub will support the transparency of our other enhanced member services too, in particular, featuring information relating to our proposed new task and finish groups, and agreed actions from recent meetings.
Accessing the hub
Members can now access the Housing Hub directly from our homepage, and via this link. You will need to create an account to log in, and doing so will also give you the opportunity to sign up for our Member Communities and fortnightly CHC Bulletin email.
To make sure the Housing Hub works for our members, please share any feedback you may have with the policy leads listed on the hub’s pages, or email comms@chcymru.org.uk.
